The purpose of the Chapter is to promote the practice of business analysis, raise the profile of the business analyst role, and locally represent the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA®).  The Chapter is run by a Board of Directors who are elected by Chapter members when their tenure ends or as required.

The Board is made up of volunteers who believe in the mission of the IIBA and promote the role of the business analyst as a recognized profession. The Board meets regularly to strategize and to reflect on the programs of the organisation.

Our Chapter Bylaws
The Chapter Bylaws provide a framework for the chapter to organize itself, including how we are structured, the regularity of our election processes, and who qualifies to participate in our leadership and programs.

These bylaws outline the structure, responsibilities, and operational procedures that govern our chapter's activities and ensure consistency in decision-making and governance.

In 2024, the leadership of the organization performed a deep review of the chapter by-laws due to the adopted strategy for 2024-2027.
Our Chapter Strategy
Our strategy for 2024-2027 was crafted based on the following inputs:
  • Industry analysis - forces shaping the practice of business analysis
  • Stakeholder Engagements - inputs received from engaging our customers
  • IIBA Chapter Success Factors - the Bible of how chapters can succeed in their leadership, operations, and focus areas
  • Availability of talent - understanding our talent pool availability to help us execute our strategy
  • Balance sheet position - our strategy requires sponsorship to execute. We had to consider our current financial position before embarking on the strategy design
