WC Region visit UCT

On 2 October 2026, the IIBA South Africa Chapter (Western Cape) was invited by the University of Cape Town’s Department of Information Systems to deliver a presentation to the INF3012S class, comprising primarily final-year Information Systems students. The engagement aimed to introduce students to the field of Business Analysis, provide insight into the practical role of a Business Analyst in the workplace, and raise awareness of professional development opportunities through the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA). Audience: Approximately 50–80 students, primarily in their final year of Information Systems Host and presenters: Prof Lisa Seymour (host), Lerato Moagi (IIBA Western Cape Chapter Lead) and Rudzani Shuping (IIBA Western Cape Volunteer)
